We started our office excursion at the House of Maemories in Franklin - a pioneering new district in the north-east of Mannheim, which was developed from the former largest American housing estate. The result is an exciting and diverse neighbourhood with different types of housing - from high-rise buildings to refurbished and extended existing buildings to single-family homes and subsidised housing for around 10,000 people. We then travelled on to Heidelberg to visit our completed Employee housing for the employees of the university hospital. We are delighted to have created an architecturally appealing and community-promoting residential home for the future residents, with flats of high functionality with pure and healthy materials as well as a subtle aesthetic.
