Construction work on the new Employee housing Wieblinger Weg are nearing completion. Thanks to the modular timber hybrid construction method, we were able to build the 99 flats in just 15 months, with completion scheduled for early summer. With this efficient and modern form of construction, walls, ceilings, façade elements and modular bathrooms are prefabricated and delivered to the construction site ready for use, leaving only the final assembly and connection work to be carried out on site.

The flats are let by GGH to Heidelberg University Hospital for its employees; the offer is primarily aimed at employees with lower or medium incomes, e.g. people in nursing professions or trainees.
