When parents meet for a church coffee, attend an event, exchange ideas and chat, children are bored and impatient. For years, a temporary play corner in the Baptist church in Karlsruhe provided the necessary space for children to play. Now a new solution had to be found: the young visitors have very different requirements for a play corner, they are of different ages, know each other or not, want to play alone or together, cook, build or read picture books. In addition, the large forum is also used for events, which required a mobile solution: all modules of the new furniture are now removable with child-safe connections and stand on locking castors, the tree can be folded up - a flexible yet very stable design.
We are delighted that we can now inaugurate the new play corner. It creates little 'rooms' for the children on its four sides, for ambitious play, quiet moments, little inventions and lots of fun, alone or with friends. Now the children have a favourite place to spend time - under a tree!
With this work, we want to make a contribution to social interaction and support children and have therefore carried out the project on a voluntary basis and with wood from sustainable forestry in the Black Forest.
