A semi-detached house is being built in Stuttgart, which will be rebuilt as a modern and energy-efficient building following the demolition of the existing building. The topping-out ceremony was celebrated on Friday, 15 March 2024 with the completion of the building shell.

The design of the new building responds to its surroundings, blending harmoniously into the neighbouring buildings with its rendered façade, external boundaries and pitched roof.

The two full storeys and the top floor are clearly divided into public, semi-public and private areas, thus following the client's requirements for a classic division of uses into "living downstairs/ sleeping upstairs". The communal areas such as cooking, dining and living are located on the ground floor, the bedrooms are on the first floor and there is a private studio under the roof.
