Our task was to restructure a practice in terms of space, organisation, technology and furnishings in a relatively short space of time, while adhering to the tight restrictions of the listed building. Walls had to be moved, rooms reorganised and a conservatory added as a staff area. In terms of atmosphere, the practice was to be kept in white. For reasons of hygiene, the furniture in the treatment rooms was designed to be wall-mounted in order to enable easy-to-clean continuous flooring. The horizontal shelves were also made seamlessly from Corian for hygienic reasons.
The companies carrying out the work were brought together to form a consortium that provides interdisciplinary support. This made it possible to keep to the tight schedule. The furniture was designed by Verena Leimeister.
