Passive house, Hagenbach

The PlusEnergy house is located in an older building area in Hagenbach in the Palatinate. Due to its extremely high insulation standard (passive house) and the passive and active use of solar energy, the building supplies more energy than it consumes. The load-bearing structure consists of a timber frame construction with a visible board stacked ceiling. The building envelope and the roof are made of glued double T-beams, planked on both sides, with cellulose insulation and an additional installation level on the inside. On the north side, the building is clad with larch wood, on the south side with glass panels from the solar collector production, backed with a blue glass fleece. This creates a thermoactive solar façade.
