Eating together is one of the most important cultural events, especially for children. Although the canteen is required to be a large, column-free space, it should still be a place that is different from a canteen. The conditions are ideal due to the special nature of the location - at the end of the school courtyard, which is surrounded on three sides. In order not to close off this open space to the west, a central idea was to arrange the functional rooms and the entrance on the south side, where the pergola is also located, in order to leave space for an almost fully glazed dining hall that allows a visual east-west relationship. The south wall allows the building to be extended to the south. In terms of energy, the extremely insulated building utilises the return temperature of the school building's heating system.<\/p>\n
