Situado en el centro de la ciudad, a lo largo de un corredor verde urbano, el centro de asistencia aborda los aspectos arquitect\u00f3nicos y funcionales de la atenci\u00f3n a las personas mayores y a los enfermos de demencia. El nuevo edificio no debe parecer un cuerpo extra\u00f1o, sino dar la impresi\u00f3n de llevar aqu\u00ed mucho tiempo y permitir a los residentes experimentar el juego de las estaciones y el viento y el tiempo desde sus camas a trav\u00e9s de los altos \u00e1rboles que se han conservado. Las l\u00edneas del edificio, la situaci\u00f3n de la entrada y el desarrollo en altura reaccionan con sensibilidad al emplazamiento. Mientras que el edificio de la amplia R\u00fcppurrer Stra\u00dfe tiene seis plantas, sus cuatro plantas de la Luisenstra\u00dfe est\u00e1n retranqueadas respecto a la calle para no tapar el sol a los vecinos. Equipado con un conducto subterr\u00e1neo y ventilaci\u00f3n controlada con recuperaci\u00f3n de calor, el edificio, altamente aislado, cumple las normas ecol\u00f3gicas m\u00e1s estrictas.<\/p>\n

El 1 de abril de 2014, los profesores Andreas L\u00f6ffler y Matthias Schmeling abandonaron el estudio P.I.A-Architekten, fundado en 1994 por los antiguos socios Andreas L\u00f6ffler y Rainer Schneider, Gerhard Leicht y Matthias Schmeling, y fundaron el estudio de arquitectura L\u00f6ffler-Schmeling.<\/h6>\n
