La propiedad existente es una casa adosada en las afueras de Stuttgart. Una mitad ya ha sido renovada y se ha ampliado hacia el sur. Ahora le toca a la otra mitad redefinirse. Desgraciadamente, la estructura existente y la estructura del edificio de 1936 no merecen ser conservadas y no permiten hacer realidad las necesidades y deseos del cliente mediante una reconversi\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, el s\u00f3tano es h\u00famedo.
\nLa demolici\u00f3n completa es inevitable, ya que es la \u00fanica manera de crear un edificio moderno y energ\u00e9ticamente eficiente que responda al esp\u00edritu de la \u00e9poca y a las necesidades del cliente.
\nEl nuevo edificio no s\u00f3lo debe responder adecuadamente a los requisitos del cliente, sino tambi\u00e9n a su entorno. Se realizar\u00e1 una fachada enlucida y se adoptar\u00e1 la forma y la inclinaci\u00f3n del tejado. Adem\u00e1s, se retomar\u00e1 la alineaci\u00f3n de los dem\u00e1s edificios del barrio para que el nuevo edificio se integre bien en su entorno.
\nA la propiedad se accede por el norte y tiene una orientaci\u00f3n norte-sur, con el muro com\u00fan al este. Al sur de la propiedad se extiende un hermoso jard\u00edn al que se orientan y abren las estancias del nuevo edificio, reforzando la conexi\u00f3n del interior con el exterior.
\nEl dise\u00f1o de los espacios interiores tambi\u00e9n se caracteriza por los contrastes de conexiones visuales y unidad. El edificio de dos plantas m\u00e1s el \u00faltimo piso est\u00e1 claramente dividido en zonas p\u00fablicas, semip\u00fablicas y privadas. La cl\u00e1sica divisi\u00f3n de usos \"vivir abajo, dormir arriba\" constituye la base del dise\u00f1o de la planta.
